Vintage 1950s Falstaff silver-plated pedestal sugar bowl with a removable cobalt blue glass insert. It is often used for serving sugar, candy, or as a decorative potpourri dish. The silver-plated frame filigree basket has an ornate, pierced / reticulated design that allows the vibrant blue from the glass to show through. It also has a swing handle. It is made of silver plate, marked ‘EP on BRASS’ at the back.

Diameter of the basket is 4.25 inches and it’s height is about 5.75 inches tall with the handle up. Without the handle, the basket stands about 2.75 inches. The cobalt blue glass is 1.75 inches in height and spreads about 3.75 inches in diameter.
